3 Easy Steps To Remove Dog Pee From Your Carpet

Posted by Raine Orallo on

If you're pup isn't housebroken yet, chances are that he's peed on your carpet (or your bed!) more than once. Don't fret, mommy! Here are 3 easy steps to follow to remove dog pee from your carpet successfully:

Step 1

Sprinkle the affected area of the carpet with a generous amount of baking soda. This will help neutralize the odor.

Step 2

Mix equal parts of vinegar and water in a spritzer bottle. Add a couple of drops of lemon essential oil. Spray the mixture on the affected area on the carpet. Allow to dry for a few minutes.

Step 3

Once dry, vacuum your carpet as normal.

Don't worry - dog urine is not as potent as cat urine as it has more water content. It shouldn't be too hard to remove any stains and smells!
